Friendships are life’s treasures. Faith and trust are built through efforts to go and meet with our friends. Let’s share our sincere and genuine heart and thoughts with that friend, and this friend.
Traffic accidents are caused by a careless or cavalier attitude. Never drive while doing something else such as texting, or talking with a cellphone at your ear! Let’s make plans that are flexible and reasonable, with safety our number one priority.
Golden Week(*) is finally upon us. Let’s strengthen our bonds with friends and relatives whom we don’t usually have a chance to see. Let’s spend each day meaningfully, cultivating and expanding new friendships and exchanges. (*)Japan is entering “Golden Week” that comprises many holidays, which includes April 30 (Showa Day–originally Emperor Showa’s birthday), May 3 (Constitution Memorial Day), May 4 (Greenery Day), and May 5 (Boy’s Day).
When we take action for the sake of others, we are are able to manifest greater strength than when we take action merely for ourselves. This is the way of life of Soka. Together, let’s lead lives of unwavering conviction!
As the saying goes, “A clear spring flows beneath your feet.” Create your mission where you are and achieve results through effort and challenge! From there, the doors to brilliant success will open without fail!
A sense of responsibility for protecting our fellow members is demonstrated through small acts of care and kindness and sensitivity to others’ feelings and needs. How is their health? How is their family life, or their work situation? Let’s be leaders who go out of their way to helping others.
The great Buddhism of the sun will spread throughout Jambudvipa (the entire world) with the solidarity of Soka. Let’s spread happiness by expanding people’s connection to Buddhism, upholding the towering spirit with which the Daishonin established his teachings. We advance, brimming with courage!
Based on the Buddhist principle of faith equals daily life, let’s always conduct ourselves with courtesy and common sense! Let’s be shining examples in our communities by engaging in refreshing, people’s diplomacy!
Buddhism teaches the principle of the oneness of life and its environment. A transformation in oneself will cause a transformation in one’s environment. Let’s play out a fresh drama of challenging our human revolution!
